Gala Opening at CLAUSTRO Feb 24, 2012 · Feb 27, 11:37 pm
Despite pretty much our one and only biggest snow storm of the year that arrived THE DAY of our OPENING RECEPTION, we had a great local turnout for the unveiling of our Sculpted Painting entitled, Spirits of Killarney. Thank you to everyone who made it out on this snowy night.
As the evening came to a close, we entertained a private party for the clients who commissioned this piece to celebrate its completion. A night to remember!
As a result of many requests from out of towners who couldn’t weather the storm, we are holding a ‘re-do’ opening this coming weekend of March 2-4th.

What a fantastic show !!!! Thank you all for coming to visit us at the GRAND One of a Kind Show Exhibition! Great to see familiar faces, and to meet old friends and share the work with new people!
And a few “Dali” references … were kindly taken of course.
Attendance was fantastic … most days, the lineups were tremendous, much like the one shown in the photo!

Road trip to North Channel before the One of a Kind Show! · Nov 20, 06:50 pm
Stu and I took a little road trip to install our latest sculpted painting entitled, Frazer Bay, back to my home country of the North Channel, Lake Huron, near Manitoulin Island.
A much needed little side attraction while working round the clock to prepare new works for the upcoming 11 day One of a Kind Show in Toronto held at the Exhibition Place!
Photos of “The Ridge” is an amazing place that my father and I used to walk to behind our house on the North Channel … in fact, he enjoyed the ridge so many times, he blazed a beautiful bush trail that went over beaver dams and through a Beech Tree forest from behind our house right up to the ridge.
A memory with my father that I will always treasure.
It was nice to be back and take in the view again. I see some paintings in those photos.

We are gearing up for our opening here at CLAUSTRO Studio and Gallery Thanksgiving Weekend! We will be open Friday October 7 to Sunday October 9th.
Of the latest works that will be featured, is our most recent Sculpted Painting, Frazer Bay, a magnificent 44 × 60 carving! And this diptych (work in progress) of the Western Islands, Georgian Bay.
