Marlene Bulas loves to paint subjects that are meaningful to her—a country road, fields, a bouquet of flowers, people, trees, Georgian Bay rocks, street scenes —-all the everyday things that give meaning to our lives. Her greatest joy is when the viewer shares the same feeling and enjoys a pleasant memory or connection to the subject. “To love art is to love life.”
