SHARON NIX - Art Exhibition
April 27-29, 2012
Born in Newfoundland, Nix has come to express her art later in life. With a cool hand and passionate heart she captures the vivid colours in oil and the many nuances of people from all walks of life, and vistas from around the world.
Nix lives on Georgian Bay, Ontario, Canada with her husband Paul, and her standard red poodle, Willow. They have three children who live in Canada and the USA.

Open Sunday April 29, 12-5pm, Artist Interactive Demonstration at 2-3pm
DEMONSTRATION details:
Sharon is going to talk about the colour wheel with primary, complimentary and tertiary colours and explain how adding black, white and complimentary colours change the colour. The audience will consider and guess which demo sample has black etc. added to it. Then, Sharon will do a colour mixing demo and have some audience members up front trying to duplicate the colour she has already made in her studio. Should be fun!! Come and try out your hand at art!
